By accessing and using CareerCruiser ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CareerCruiser provides an AI-powered job application automation platform that includes:

  • AI-powered resume tailoring and optimization
  • Job search automation across multiple platforms
  • Hiring manager contact discovery
  • Automated job application submission

3. Credit System

Our service operates on a credit-based system:

  • New users receive 10 free credits upon registration
  • Credits can be purchased in packages and never expire
  • Each service action (resume generation, contact lookup, etc.) consumes credits as specified
  • Credits are non-refundable once used
  • Unused credits remain in your account indefinitely

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate and current
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Use the Service to spam or harass others
  • Scrape or harvest data from the Service
  • Share your account with others

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CareerCruiser and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you provide (resumes, job descriptions, etc.). By using our Service, you grant us a license to process and use this content to provide our services.

7. Payment and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Our refund policy:

  • Credits purchases are final and non-refundable
  • Credits never expire and remain in your account
  • In case of technical errors, we may issue credit adjustments at our discretion
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may:

  • Perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Limit or suspend access for violations of these terms

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • That you will get interviews or job offers
  • The accuracy of AI-generated content
  • The availability of job listings or contact information
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CAREERCRUISER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
